Tailor Made Fish Farms Pty Ltd (TMFF) incorporated in 1997 is an aquaculture company dedicated to developing innovative re-circulating systems for fish farming; these systems are already providing TMFF with the ability to produce quality water born species for human consumption without the use of chemicals and drugs, while bench marking their re-circulating systems as a leading aquaculture technology for other fish farmers worldwide.
The management team at TMFF are dedicated to developing environmentally sound aquaculture systems linked to efficient vegetable production. Over our 19 year development path the company has grown from an idea to a successful position within the fastest globally growing food production industry. Our focus over the last decade have been to develop a refined productive land based model, after 8 years of production we were able to identify all the problems that existed in our start-up system that was constructed in 1998 based on our new knowledge we felt the need to build a new refined model that would serve as a productive commercial size display model that would provide the blueprint for the fish production system to be replicated in other locations.
In 2006 we achieved just that and built the new improved model that demonstrates how a fully functioning commercial model should be built this new model produces 1,000 kilograms of clean healthy fish per week every week from only 1500 square metres of floor space, this technology can be replicated anywhere In the world. Tailor Made Fish Farms at Port Stephens has become efficient enough to be the largest producer of Barramundi in the state of New South Wales Australia.
